Planting Started

March 27, 2010

It was a beautiful but cool day today so I went out and planted one planting of salad makings in the front left square bed:

  • Mesclun Mix (Wyatt Quarles)
  • Super Gourmet Salad Mix (Territorial)
  • Bloomsdale Savoy Spinach (Territorial)
  • Altaglobe Radishes (Territorial)

If the weather holds, tomorrow I’ll plant some Swiss Chard, Rhubarb variety

The Kale I planted a couple of weeks ago in the back is already coming up just as the over-wintered plants from last fall are going to seed.

More to come!

Isn’t it fun to sow some of the first seeds for our spring vegetable gardens? Good luck with yours this year.
