Spring Rains Sparkling Skies

April 10, 2010

The rains of Thursday evening washed all the pollen out of the air and left the sky looking pristine and sparkling. Today that trend has continued and I am hoping that the worst of the pollen production is over. Today has been very pleasant and temperatures have been closer to normal which prompted me to get out and plant a few seeds. It is still a bit early to plant warm weather veggies, but the average last frost for this area is April 15, so I’ll be planting more soon. Check out the updated planting list to see what I planted today.

Wasn’t is nice to have no pollen for a brief period of time on Friday? We could use another short shower of rain to wash it again.
Our last average frost is April 15-ish as well. Happy planting!!

Yes, it was indeed. Perhaps we could order up a shower at least once a week just to clean the air and water the plants? 😉
