New Life in the Carolina Victory Garden
April 16, 2010
I’ve taken a survey of what is growing so far in the garden. Here is the count of vegetables so far: the kale I planted back in March is growing nicely and we should get several nice meals off the plants before it gets too hot for them. The salad, radishes and lettuce I planted the first part of April is growing nicely as well. In the back, I have some white scallop squash growing, no beans up yet. There is also Black Beauty Zucchini sprouting in the very front. No pumpkin sprouting yet. Here are a few photos of the new plants.

Looks like the beginning of a summer of great eating.
